On Wednesday July 29, 2015, Beat Brasserie, located in Cambridge, MA, takes a walk on the exotic side with an exciting performance of Indian fusion music and specialty dishes that will transport guests onto the magical streets of India. From 8:00PM

to 12:00AM, guests are invited to experience the intoxicating talents of Shilpa Anath as she fuses music from the East and West, bringing Indian, jazz, R&B and hip hop to the stage.  

Native to India, Shilpa Anath’s childhood revolved around the music, dance and culture of her country.  Since moving to America and graduating from Berklee College of Music, Shilpa and her band, SA, aim to stay true to her roots while also combining new influences to create a cultural blend of soul-jazz-Indian music, ensuring an exciting performance for all involved.

Throughout the evening Executive Chef Ignacio Lopez will serve a variety of Indian inspired specials, in addition to the Beat’s regular menu.  Guests can dine on Beat’s signature items such as Sweet Chili Baby Back Ribs ($15), Buffalo Cauliflower ($11.50) with a blue cheese dipping sauce, and Grilled Lamb Chops ($35) with hot feta dressing, wild broccoli and toasted couscous. 

Truly blend Indian flavors with Beat’s American aesthetic by pairing dinner with one of the restaurant’s 36 delicious American small batch artisanal wines on tap, like the Empire Builder Rose, the Liberty School Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon, and the J.
