Can music tell a tale? A crafty trickster comes to life, a clarinet woos an uninterested maiden, drums share memories from the Australian outback and a violin sings a lullaby. Come for a colorful morning of classical music—especially for kids—that transports us into the narrative, bringing the world of our imaginations to life with works by Strauss, Piazzolla, Florence Price, Mark O’Connor and more. Afterward, kids can drum with the Chameleons and try violin, viola, cello and double bass.
The event is free, appropriate for all ages and no tickets are necessary. For more information: 617-427-8200 or https://chameleonarts.org/
