You don’t have to leave the city to experience life on the farm! Don’t miss Farm Day at Franklin Park Zoo on September 14 from 10:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., featuring special guest Peppa Pig! Peppa Pig, the popular animated children’s show geared toward preschoolers, can be seen on Nick Jr. A costumed Peppa Pig character will be available for meet-and-greets at half-hour intervals beginning at 10:30 a.m. and ending at 2:30 p.m. Be sure to bring your camera to take photos!

Franklin Park Zoo’s Franklin Farm is home to an array of fascinating animals including Poitou donkeys (an extremely rare breed of donkey and the oldest breed of donkey in France), sheep, goats, Guinea hogs, and much more!

Throughout the day, learn more about the animals during scheduled zookeeper encounters and visit with exhibitors including Best Bees, Wilson Farm, CitySoil and the Massachusetts Chapter of the Northeast Organic Farming Association.
