"Since the release of her debut album in 2000, singer/songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, DJ, and outrageous performance artist Peaches has questioned and disrupted global perceptions and practices relating to gender, sexuality, and inclusivity. Also, she rocks. From her debut album The Teaches of Peaches to her shocking live performances to her widely lauded one-woman theater production Peaches Christ Superstar, Peaches has continually pushed herself to new, more provocative creative heights, blowing audiences’ minds wide open. Along the way, she’s gained a huge following in the queer, art, feminist, and underground communities, and honed mad DJ skills, which she’ll show off at the ICA."
