With a capacity of 200, Tunnel is decidedly more intimate than most nightclubs. The venue takes its name after its elongated space and black rock walls. With the expertise of Sousa Design Architects, it places art, technology and music at the forefront of its design. Tunnel’s discreet entrance, marked by frosted windows, opens to a sultry foyer with a mirrored private elevator and a modern staircase that descend below ground. Immediately upon entering, guests will be captivated by the club’s custom-made LED light system, an art installation in its own right, created by locally based NE Neon. Spanning across the entire ceiling, the system has 3,600 floating LED light fixtures with 65,000 pre-set lighting effects; it can be programmed to create customized patterns, and even has an artificial intelligence system that synchronizes to the beat of the music.
