Built in 1913 by the Ancient Order of Hibernians, a group that promoted Irish cultural heritage, Hibernian Hall once served as a social club for Irish immigrants and was an immensely popular Irish dance destination through the early 1960s, serving as a center of social and cultural life in the Irish community. Today, it caters to a diverse clientele, hosting music, dance and theater performances, as well as discussions and panels that tackle topics relating to area residents.
