Though most of the Italian eateries in the North End are good, few are excellent. Dolce Vita falls into this elite category with its mouth-watering traditional Sicilian spices and fresh seafood served daily. The owner and chef Frank Graceffa is known for his welcoming smile and accommodating style (if a customer orders a dish that's not on the menu, Graceffa is happy to make it for them). If you go, order the Seafood Plate. It's not on the menu because of portion inconsistency and comes in at a pricey $27.95, but it comes with the best selection of mussels, shrimp, scallops, lobster, and calamari around.
