This tradition signals the start of Boston Pride Month with performances, music, fun and games, and of course, illuminating the evergreen tree on the corner of Clarendon and Tremont Streets at the BCA Plaza in Boston's South End. Originally presented by AIDS Action Committee as a tribute to the LGBTQ community and the many lives lost to the AIDS epidemic, Pride Lights has become one of the flagship events of Boston Pride.
