Looking to get a little wild during December vacation? Your winter school break is the perfect time to connect with incredible wildlife and spend a memorable day with family and friends exploring Franklin Park Zoo.

Be sure to visit the education station inside the Tropical Forest, where you’ll learn about the amazing adaptations of animals during the cold winter months. There are fun winter-themed activities, crafts, conservation stations and much more to discover! Don’t miss out on any fun; check out the schedule for keeper chats and animal encounters below.

Daily Schedule:

• 10:30 a.m.: Red Panda keeper talk
• 11 a.m.: Bird’s World keeper talk with Kea
• 11:30 a.m.: Camel keeper talk
• Noon: Bird’s World keeper talk
• 12:30 p.m.: Big Joe the Storyteller book reading in Hippo Theater
• 2 p.m.: Gorilla forage/keeper talk—Hippo and Tapir will be getting snacks, too!
