Description

Can you count all the leaves on the trees? No, but you can draw them! Nature journaling encourages wonder, creativity and appreciation for the environment while also teaching drawing skills and scientific inquiry. In this workshop, explore local conservation land, draw what you find, and play with shapes, color and perspective. Students should bring a sketchbook for drawing. This is an in-person, socially distanced workshop Concord-area conservation land where participants can discover new plants, animals and more!

Materials: Everyone should have a dedicated sketchbook, graphite pencils and coloring pencils. Most materials can be found at home.

Everyone is required to wear a mask during the workshop. Any questions about social distancing protocol can send inquiries to Caroline Provost at caroline@theumbrellaarts.org.
