The School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston (SMFA) has been educating artists since its founding in 1876. SMFA offers a variety of public programming including exhibitions, lectures, performances, art sales and more. Our exhibitions feature internationally recognized artists and curators as well as work by our celebrated faculty, alumni and students. Admission is always free.
