Trips to Cape Cod during the 70’s and 80’s were one summer-long happy hour. Playing for jam-packed clubs nightly, happy hour entertainers like Dick Doherty, John Morgan, DJ Sullivan, Jim Plunkett and Gordie Milne were the “Kings of Cape Cod.” Producer Dan McCarthy’s documentary Kings of Cape Cod relives these illustrious days on the Cape that shaped a generation of party-goers.

Kings Bowl Dedham invites movie-lovers and Cape-goers alike to join them at Legacy Place for the premiere and party for Kings of Cape Cod. The film will premiere at Legacy Place’s Showcase De Lux at 6:30 and 8:30 p.m., with a red carpet event and premiere party happening at neighboring Kings Bowl Dedham from 7:30 p.m. to midnight.
