Description

The Friends of the Boston HarborWalk are delighted that Jan Engelman will lead a guided tour of East Boston's Harborwalk between Brophy Park and Logan Airport. Meet at Brophy Park, located at 414 Sumner St in East Boston. The closest MBTA stop is Maverick Square on the Blue Line.

Explore the Harborwalk between Jeffries Point to its northern terminus at the Hyatt Boston Harbor Hotel. This tour will cover what was once open ocean. East Boston and Logan Airport were built over shallow bays and five islands: Apple, Noddle's, Hog, Bird's and Governor's. To return, take a water taxi or a shuttle to the Silver Line or the Blue Line Airport Station.
