This concert features the music of composer/arranger/pianist and artist-in-residence Michael Abene, performed by a large ensemble of some of Berklee’s finest soloists and ensemble players. Abene composed for Germany’s WDR Big Band for a decade and has arranged for artists including Paquito d’Rivera, John Scofield '73 H'97, Patti Austin H'00, Gary Burton '62 H'89, and Joe Lovano '72 H'98.
