Faneuil Hall Marketplace hosts its first ever Plein Air Paint-Out! The three-day Paint Out invites professional, amateur, and student plein air painters to capture iconic Boston scenes of architecture, markets, crowds, and street performers. Painters are encouraged to use any painting medium over the three days. A final show, "group draw", prizes, and two-week exhibition will offer artists many opportunities to show their work to thousands of daily visitors to the marketplace.

All qualified artists will be allowed to participate. To confirm participation, a registration fee of $25 is required (fee is waived for university students and Junior (under 18) categories). Registration is open September 16 and 17, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Paint-Out events run all day, September 16-September 18, with an awards ceremony at 5 p.m. For more detailed scheduling, see event website.
