You've heard of Doctors Without Borders, right? There is also a non-profit called Clowns Without Borders. Seriously! They deliver another kind of medicine: laughter. In areas of the world plagued by war, natural disaster, or political crisis, laughter may seem like a luxury. But mounting evidence shows it strengthens people's resilience, and even strengthens their immune systems. This wild and raucous comedy benefit will raise money to send more performers to global hot spots.

Performers with Clowns Without Borders have years of experience entertaining foreign audiences. They transcend language barriers by emphasizing physical comedy and playing music that makes you want to move. Sometimes they start parades!  

You'd have to go to Broadway or beyond to catch some of these entertainers, and this is the only time you'll find them all under one roof. The lineup includes:

• Avner the Eccentric, a one-man Broadway show, star of the title role in the film “Jewel of the Nile”

• Alex the Jester, who takes musical comedy to a whole new level. Seen on Showtime, PBS, and America's Got Talent

• Paris the hip-hop juggler. Juggling. Hip-hop. What?

• Lenny Solomon, YouTube sensation who invents insane instruments

• Jiayong Li, a rising star in stand-up

All proceeds from the show benefit Clowns without Borders. The performers and the audience will give comic relief a whole new meaning.
