Description

Hopsters, Boston's first and only custom craft brewery and restaurant, continues its tap takeover series after a successful inaugural event. Hopsters once again hosts one of its favorite local craft beer companies for one night, offering exclusive beers on tap from the brewery and a unique opportunity for avid fans to brew a rare recipe with the brand’s founder or head brewer.

Idle Hands Craft Ales, based out of Everett, Mass., and its founder, Christopher Tkach, and Head Brewer Ben Howe, take over Hopsters’ kettles and lead the brewing efforts—including the grinding, mashing and boiling—to ultimately create 75 gallons of a one-of-a-kind batch of a custom Winter Quad.

20 lucky people who reserve their spot in advance have the opportunity to brew custom craft beer from scratch with one of the industry’s top beer experts and, after 2–3 weeks of fermenting, will have a case of this exclusive beer to enjoy at home.

Throughout the evening, while the brewing process is taking place, brewers and non-brewing spectators who stop in for a drink at Hopsters’ bar have a chance to taste any of Idle Hands’ 10 top brews.
