The inaugural Runner’s World Heartbreak Hill Half & Festival will be on the grounds of Boston College atop Heartbreak Hill. All three races, the 5-K, 10-K and Half Marathon, will traverse the iconic Boston Marathon course at points. Runners can register now at www.HHHalf.com. The centerpiece of the weekend is the half marathon at 7:30 a.m. on June 8. The 13.1-mile course will take runners through Newton. The festival begins Friday, June 6 with Kids’ Runs at 6 p.m. On Saturday, June 7, the 5-K begins at 7 a.m., and the 10-K starts at 8:30 a.m. On June 7, runners and Festival-goers will have an opportunity to attend free running-themed seminars throughout the day, leading up to a pasta dinner with the editors of Runner’s World.
