Bukowski Tavern is teaming up with Idle Hands Craft Ales to bring four of their craft ales to the Cambridge restaurant’s taps, along with a canned beer option and a vintage mixed culture bottled beer option. Each beer on tap has a food pairing that is offered on the night of the event from a specially crafted menu by Bukowski Tavern’s chef and owner, Brian Poe.
lamb burger, topped with tzatziki and a cucumber, red onion and feta salsa. A true New England IPA with a tropical twist, Four Seam is ideal with the delicious, chipotle tomato braised beef Gordo Crunch taco, served in hard- and soft-shell tortillas melted together with jack cheese, and topped with a corn poblano salsa, ranch refried beans and el diablo sauce.
The canned offering is a robust porter, 34, named in honor of Red Sox legend David Ortiz and featuring strong notes of dark chocolate, burnt caramel and dark fruit and a punch of sweetness to balance out this beer that is as lively as the man who wore the number. The bottled beer option is a vintage mixed culture offering.
The Idle Hands beer offerings and special menu pairings made by Bukowski Tavern’s chef and owner, Brian Poe, are available for one-night-only, making this a can’t miss event.
