The Anchor at Shipyard Park in historic Charlestown Navy Yard, a community gathering spot that features a beer and wine garden, hosts weekly fitness events, including Rings with Tommy’s Dojo every Wednesday from 6–7 p.m. until October 30.
Ring training dates back to ancient Greek and Roman times and can be implemented in a wide variety of training systems to provide increased overall strength, power and stability. The Anchor provides a sound and safe structure for ring setup; in fact, Tommy has been teaching clients at the Navy Yard for years! Ring training is a unique program open to the community and is part of The Anchor’s Waterfront Wellness series.
