Description

Stephanie’s on Newbury, located in the heart of Back Bay on Newbury and Exeter Street, has launched its mid-summer brunch, lunch and dinner menus with fresh dishes from Culinary Director Justin Winters. Now is the time to enjoy these seasonal dishes on Boston’s most famous patio synonymous with friendly summer meals, refreshing cocktails and people watching.

For lunch, guests can start with savory options like the warm heirloom tomato tart with gruyere, caramelized onions and basil, or the toasted zucchini bread with goat cheese, honeycomb and roasted corn. Featured seasonal items include the yellowfin tuna salad with red oak lettuce, butter beans, heart of palm and pistachio vinaigrette; the Maplebrook Farms burrata with cucumber gazpacho, snap peas, green beans, honeydew melon and aged balsamic; and the black bean burger with cotija cheese, corn relish and spicy green beans on a toasted English muffin. Starting at 5 p.m., guests can indulge in new entrée items, including the Atlantic salmon with togarashi soba, seaweed, avocado, sweet soy and lime, and the baked stuffed shells pasta with spinach, ricotta, marinara and brie gratin, in addition to the mainstay comfort food classics like the lobster pot pie with Maine lobster, new potatoes, mushrooms, sugar snap peas and thyme crush and the oversized Stephi burger with Cabot aged cheddar cheese and bacon on a toasted brioche bun, served with French fries. The desserts, made fresh daily by Pastry Chef Paige Retus, include the Boston cream pie with golden cake, pastry cream and Callebaut chocolate sauce or the blueberry crumble with oatmeal crumble and vanilla ice cream. To complement the summer menu, guests can toast with Stephanie’s rosé menu, as well as draft cocktails, including the renowned Doli with house infused pineapple vodka, or the seasonal rosé sangria with rosé vodka, sparkling rosé, raspberry and lemon.

During the week, Stephanie’s on Newbury is open for breakfast starting at 7:30 a.m., with lighter fare that ranges from an egg white frittata with grilled vegetables and parmesan cheese to a smoked salmon bagel with tomato, fried capers and whipped cream cheese. Other options include the breakfast burger with a fried egg on a brioche bun or the customizable cheddar cheese omelette for those with a heartier appetite. On Saturdays and Sundays from 9 a.m.–3 p.m., the restaurant serves a weekend brunch that is the ideal stop when exploring Boston, or strolling the famed shopping street. Menu items include the buttermilk griddle pancakes with maple syrup and cinnamon honey butter; a skillet breakfast with applewood smoked bacon, maple sausage, home fries, eggs and cheddar; and the truffled croque madame with brioche, shaved black forest ham, melted gruyere, truffled bechamel, fried egg and mixed greens; or for the table, cinnamon monkey bread or a freshly baked pecan sticky bun. No brunch is complete without one of Stephanie’s signature brunch cocktails, like the Stephi’s espresso martini with vodka, fresh brewed espresso, Bailey's and coffee liqueur.
