Bukowski Tavern Cambridge hosts party to celebrate the late Charles Bukowski’s 99thbirthday on Friday, August 16. Bukowski’s invites customers to celebrate their namesake by indulging in special menu items crafted with the poet in mind, and the chance to win Bukowski swag.

Bukowski’s offers special menu items based around Charles Bukowski’s work. Inspired creations for the event include a “Ham(burger) on Rye” made up of smoked Benton’s ham, a grilled hamburger, thousand island dressing, beer mustard and sauerkraut all on toasted marble rye. In honor of Charles Bukowski’s simple beverage tastes, the “Hamm on Rye,” a can of Hamm’s lager and a short of Old Overhold Rye, is also available during the party. 

There is also a beer roulette wheel for guests to spin and win prizes such as Bukowski swag or a gift card.
