The Fisherman’s Feast looks to find the North End’s best meatball during its Second Annual Meatball Competition on Saturday, August 17. Happening at the 109th annual feast, North End restaurants compete with the hopes of winning "The North End’s Best Meatball." Will Tony + Elaine’s keep its title of "The North End’s Best Meatball" or will a new winner be crowned?

Attendees judge each meatball on taste alone. The top five meatballs move on to the final judging by a special guest culinary judge’s panel.

The event is open to the public at 3 p.m. and the winner is announced at 6 p.m. that evening. There is a $5 entrance fee. The event takes place at the Galbani Cheese Stage. Come be the judge to see who has the best meatball in the North End and be entertained by comedians while you’re tasting these delicious treats.
