On Friday, July 12 from 6–11 p.m. on Marlborough Street between Berkeley and Clarendon, join 2,000 other guests at the French Cultural Center's Bastille Day celebration, the most anticipated block party of the year. With two great bands, four bars, local restaurants, a children's table and more, this is one of Boston's best summer parties.

Shamarr Allen is the definition of New Orleans! Hailing from the Lower 9th Ward, Allen has influences in jazz, hip-hop, rock, funk rhythms, blues, and country. He has collaborated with many renowned artists such as Willie Nelson, Patti LaBelle, Galatic, Harrick Connick Jr. and Lenny Kravitz.
Bon Bon Vivant
This indie-Gypsy/New Orleans band plays original bawdy gypsy swing, dark ballads and uptempo indie rock/dance music. Bon Bon Vivant can be seen at clubs all over New Orleans, and has been featured at the French Quarter Festival, New Orleans Film Fest and this year's Creole Tomato Fest.
