Filippo Frattaroli and his son Philip Frattaroli, owners of Ristorante Lucia, one of Boston’s oldest authentic North End Italian restaurants, invite you to a new cooking and dining series, Lucia’s Tour d’Italia. The restaurants host regular events, including cooking classes at the Winchester location featuring a pasta local to a specific region, and five-course wine dinners at the North End Boston location, featuring the same pasta as well as other dishes from the region, paired with top wines. Each month in the series is focused on a different Italian region, having started with Abruzzo, the region the Frattarolis hail from, and working through the other regions alphabetically. February is Basilicata, the southern mountain region bordering Calabria and Puglia.
